FATHERING IN GOD’S CREATION

At the heart of Ancient Path Ministries beats a core team that makes the mission possible — the Field Guides. These seasoned men are the backbone of the brotherhood: fathers, mentors, and brothers who choose to walk shoulder-to-shoulder with others on life-changing adventures in God’s creation.

Field Guides are more than trip leaders. They are culture-shapers and legacy-builders, living out the Ancient Path mission in their everyday lives — in their workplaces, neighborhoods, churches, and circles of influence. Whether it’s on a riverbank with a fly
rod, in the woods on a crisp hunt, along a trail under open skies, or under the hood of an old car (where half the time you’re fixing the engine and the other half you’re wondering how there’s still grease in your beard three days later), Field Guides invite
men into both skill and story.

At these events, they are trained and equipped to guide men in life using the skills and passions God has already placed in them — and to use those as bridges to deeper conversations that help men Get Their Wild Back and live Wild, Free, and Fully Alive.

Field Guides create authentic community, foster trust, and embody the DNA of this ministry. They pass on what they’ve received so that the brotherhood, the adventure, and the mission continue for generations.

In the workshop, on the trail, and around the table, the Field Guide’s Path equips us to lead with humility and presence. We learn the skills of the outdoors, the art of hospitality, the ways of being kind and curious and the deeper work of guiding hearts toward God.Meals are shared, wisdom is passed down, and stories are told until they become part of us.

Here, leadership is not about position but Service and Calling. We walk the way ourselves so we help others find it. The question is — will you step into the Field Guide’s Path?
