Finding Our Way, Together

At Ancient Path Ministries, we believe the soul’s greatest journey doesn’t happen in comfort—it unfolds where wild places meet uncharted places of the heart. We exist to invite men out of routine and into the rugged beauty of God’s world, where faith becomes real and His voice becomes clear.

We are a brotherhood united by one pursuit: to Get Our Wild Back. Guided by the blazes of Scripture and the rhythms of creation, we walk trails that whisper of courage, service, and transformation. Whether wading a trout stream, tracking game at dawn, or breaking bread under starlit skies, we step into the sacred space where identity, purpose, and faith collide so we can live Wild, Free, and Fully Alive.

Our Story

Ancient Path Ministries was born in Greg’s heart when he was just a boy standing beside the Broad River in Western NC. He was invited into more by his uncle that he called Paw Paw and then by his father and many other men along the way. Greg has
learned that from a calling to reclaim ancient rhythms in a restless world—a sacred invitation for men to step out of routine and into both the wild places of creation and the uncharted places of the heart. Its foundation is rooted in decades of ministry leadership —centering on churches, ministries like New Wilderness Adventures, Zoweh, and The New Frontier Ministry— and countless hours afield and adrift with God. Ancient Path has a steadfast commitment to guide men toward God in His creation through adventure, truth, hospitality, and brotherhood.

Led by a connector of hearts with a passion for celebrating God’s love, the ministry embodies the blend of deep spiritual roots and rugged character needed for the journey ahead. Whether around a campfire or immersed in wilderness, the vision has always
been to awaken men to a vibrant faith marked by authenticity—and to help them Get Their Wild Back and live Wild, Free, and Fully Alive.

Today, our ministry is sustained by a team of Field Guides—seasoned men who model fathering through hospitality, mentorship, and real-world skill. They lead not just in the wild places of our trips, but also in the everyday wilderness of fatherhood, workplaces, neighborhoods, and churches—gathering men into a legacy of adventure, faith, and identity.

Our Values

Getting Our Wild Back
We believe men must reconnect with their God-given identity by stepping into the wildness of God’s creation, discovering who they were made to be.

Guided Brotherhood
Men need faithful Field Guides—mentors who walk alongside them with wisdom, encouragement, and brotherhood.

Intimacy with God
We value deep connection with God, ourselves, and others in the beauty of His creation.

Scripture as Our Foundation
We believe the inerrant, unchanging Word of God is the foundation of truth and the guide for our lives.

Salvation in Jesus Alone
We believe Jesus Christ is the only way to God, and that eternal life is found in Him alone.

The Triune God
We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—eternally existing in perfect unity.

God’s Design
We believe God created humanity in His image as male and female, with only two genders and one marriage, reflecting His perfect design.

The Heart and the Battle
We believe the redeemed heart is good and can live fully alive in Christ, while also acknowledging a real spiritual enemy who seeks to destroy what God has created.
